Saturday day groups and Tuesday night group start again in the fall

SAI Local office call: Ask for Steve, Practice Manager, at 602-230-7316 if it concerns the local Arizona program.

We have people attending this "local" group from as far away as San Diego, Las Vegas, Tucson, New York, Toronto, Michigan, and Illinois.   We also have people who move here temporarily to attend the groups.  Currently, people from New York, Canada, Minnesota, Tennessee, Nevada, Missouri, Florida, Kansas, Texas, California, and Pennsylvania are in town participating in the therapy groups... the all-day Saturday group is entirely focused on therapy.. on how to get over social anxiety.  Proactive social activities occur throughout the week, almost every day.   An advanced behavioral group is usually in operation.  If you are considering a move to Phoenix, please read this.

You will learn a lot, make great progress, and have fun at the same time.  If you are motivated, the groups have the power to change your life.  Why choose to live with social anxiety when you can get better?

TWICKENHAM/HOUNSLOW, UK
Social Anxiety Therapy Centre

I am setting up a Comprehensive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Group for sufferers of Social Anxiety Disorder.
The course will last for 16 weeks and will be based on the "Overcoming Social Anxiety Step-by-Step" course by Dr. Thomas A. Richards.

It will be held in the Twickenham/Hounslow area and courses will run on Tuesday evenings and/or Friday afternoons (Please state your preference). There will be an initial assessment (preferably on a 1:1 basis) to ensure that the course is suitable for you and to discuss the course with you.

Each course session will run from 6.30 - 8.30 pm or 2.30 - 4.30 pm. There will be a charge of £18 per session (concessions may be available). I would like to let you know that the group is run in a very laid back manner, with no-one being put on the spot; we will work hard but I can promise you we will have some fun along the way!

The course is facilitated by Peter N Ralph, BSc (Honours) Psychology who specializes in Social Anxiety Disorder and who teaches Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Counselling Studies at Adult Education Centres. He has run a number of similar courses over the last five years.

DUBLIN IRELAND INFORMATION:

We have a new Social Anxiety Therapy Group starting in Dublin, Ireland.
It is run on a weekday evening (normally Tuesday) near the city centre,
starting at 6pm and runs for aprox 2 hours.

Our group is based on the SAI tape/CD series. Our motive is to provide as proactive and as friendly and helpful a group which will allow people to fulfill the behavioural side of CBT.

It is important that the ground work is done by completing the SAI CD series.

We also do some video work which we have found very beneficial in allowing people to see their performance and progress behind it.  It not as scary as it may sound!!

People who have attended the group have reported back very positive things and are looking forward to subsequent groups.

For this group to be successful as possible, we require new members and look forward to hearing from you.

We can be contacted at: overcomesa@gmail.com

All the best,

Cormac
